We offer four different cleaning processes for all types of area rugs:
- Dry Cleaning

- Submersion Handwash Cleaning
STEP BY STEP CLEANING PROCESS:
Step 1:
Dusting
Using our commercial vac, we dust both sides of the rug-removing as much dirt as possible.
Step 2:
Wash and Rinse
Shampoo wash and rinse process.
Step 3:
Drying
Mild heat and airflow is applied as the rug hangs to dry. Using compressed air, the fibers are given a luxurious fluffing.
Step 4:
Fringe
Clean fringe by hand-rehang to dry.
Step 5:
Final Inspection
Rug is dropped down, fringes are hand-combed, and rug is thoroughly inspected.
Submersion Cleaning
For Oriental rugs with animal stains and odors, Martinous Oriental Rug Company is proud to be an exclusive provider of the submersion handwash cleaning process.
The Submersion procedure includes all the steps of the regular cleaning process
but instead of the Wash and Rinse step we submerge the rug into the pit with our products to remove animal stains and odor.:
