More Than Just Oriental Rug Cleaning

We offer four different cleaning processes for all types of area rugs:

- Water Extraction and Rinse

- Submersion Handwash Cleaning
STEP BY STEP CLEANING PROCESS:
Step 1:
Dusting
Dusting with compressed air remove all the dirt and hair particles.
Step 2:
Wash and Rinse
Let rug down, shampoo, wash, rinse and rehang to dry.
Step 3:
Water Extracted
Remove rug from pit and all the water is extracted from the rug.
Step 4:
Drying
Mild heat and airflow is applied as the rug hangs to dry. Using compressed air, the fibers are given a luxurious fluffing.
Step 5:
Final Inspection
Rug is dropped down, fringes are hand-combed, and rug is throughly inspected.
Submersion Cleaning
For Oriental rugs with animal stains and odors, Martinous Oriental Rug Company is proud to be an exclusive provider of the submersion handwash cleaning process.
The Submersion procedure includes all the steps of the regular cleaning process
but instead of the Wash and Rinse step we submerge the rug into the pit with our products to remove animal stains and odor.:
