More Than Just Oriental Rug Cleaning
We clean and repair all types of area rugs in our modern cleaning and dry room facilities. We also provide mothproofing, repairing, fabric coating, and padding. Always remember: "never clean and dry any area rug on the floor." We offer four different cleaning processes for all types of area rugs:
- Dry Cleaning
- Water Extraction and Rinse
- Shampoo and Rinse
- Submersion Handwash Cleaning
For Oriental rugs with animal stains and odors, Martinous Oriental Rug Company is proud to be an exclusive provider of the submersion handwash cleaning process. Here are the step-by-step details of this innovative new procedure:
Step 1. Dusting.
Dusting with compressed air remove all the dirt and hair particles.
Step 2. Rug Submersion.
Submersion of the rug in the pit with our products to remove animal urine and odor.
Step 3. Water Extracted.
Remove rug from pit and all the water is extracted from the rug.
Step 4. Drying.
Mild heat and airflow is applied as the rug hangs to dry. Using compressed air, the fibers are given a luxurious fluffing.
Step 5. Wash and Rinse.
Let rug down, shampoo, wash, rinse and rehang to dry.
Step 6. Final Inspection.
Rug is dropped down, fringes are hand-combed, and rug is throughly inspected.
